Associate Professor Bekhor is one of the most experienced laser practitioners in Australia.
Assoc.Prof. Philip Bekhor has used lasers in dermatology for almost 32 years, commencing with a pulsed dye laser for the treatment of birth marks at the Royal Children's Hospital in 1989.
In 1993 he bought the first model of the ConBio Medlite™ Q-switched YAG laser for removal of tattoos and benign pigmented lesions. Tattoo Laser Dermatology also offers the Candela V-Beam™ and Cutera ExcelV™ lasers for the treatment of vascular lesions, the Candela Gentlelase™ hair removal laser, Fraxel re:store® Dual (non- ablative laser) and the only Fraxel re:pair® in Victoria for anti-ageing treatments.
The Ellipse Multiflex™ IPL (intense pulse light) is used for facial rejuventation and resistant port wine stains.
The ablative lasers Luminus Accupulse™ CO2 and Iridex Venus™ erbium are used extensively by all the dermatologists at Tattoo Laser Dermatology for the management of various skin conditions.
All medical and nursing staff are trained and experienced in the use of many types of lasers and work under the skilled supervision of Assoc.Prof. Bekhor, one of the most experienced laser practitioners in the country.
